Larry Lutte

Larry Lutte was my band director in high school – yes, I was a band nerd.

Mr. Lutte was a tough leader – we had summer marching band camp and constant practices, drills and challenges we needed to do to keep our ranking. He instilled a deep drive in all of us to try our hardest and perform our best. And he constantly drilled this into us – “Be in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment and the right attitude.”

Sound like good banking? Is your branch network in the right place – what about your website, mobile banking, and social media strategies? Do you have the right people and are they building relationships with the right customers and prospects? Are your products and technology up to date and designed with customers’ needs in mind? How about your leadership team – do they foster a culture that supports reaching or surpassing your financial goals? And, finally, is your staff proud to work at your bank and are they empowered to deliver the best customer experience possible?

As you start your strategic planning and marketing plan development for 2012 make sure your bank is in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment and the right attitude.

For fun try and guess what instrument I played in concert band – I have a gift for the first person to reply to this email with the correct answer!

And if you need help figuring out if you’re on the “right” path, or have thoughts on the above, please call us, we’d love your feedback.

And the Answer Is...
Light a Candle
